PieSync Secures $1.6m USD in Funding
After months and months of meetings, late nights and a mountain of paperwork, we can announce that we have raised $1.6M USD in a funding round from a series of investors led by Ark Angels Activator Fund and SOFI (PMV). We will use the proceeds to expand our list of supported SaaS applications and scale business growth, connecting 200 major SaaS applications by 2017, and no less than 500 by 2018. That is a lot of syncing.

In the coming months, we will grow our family by recruiting more developers allowing us to deliver more connections every month and highly requested features such as a synchronization timeline and advanced mapping custom fields. You can already integrate through PieSync with Podio, Pipedrive, Mailchimp, Google Contacts, Nimble, OnePageCRM and Salesforce (to name only a few), but the list is growing exponentially.

We also plan to focus on strong partnership relations by growing the marketing team. In the course of only one year (from 2014 to 2015) the number of marketing SaaS applications has doubled, increasing from 957 in 2014 to 1875 in 2015. It is vital to have a strong marketing team to build an audience and communicate PieSync’s vision, providing a user-friendly solution to a complex problem.
