Google Contacts Sync for Custom Fields
Google Contacts Sync for custom fields is now available!
You can now sync Google Custom Fields with your other cloud apps such as MailChimp, Pipedrive, Hubspot, and many more apps…
Custom Fields is automatically available for everyone on the Medium plan and above.
What are custom fields?
A custom field is a field that’s not standard to the app, it’s usually a field that you’ve created yourself.
Let’s say you you’ve created a custom field called “Number of Houses Owned” in Google Contacts. That’s a custom field, because it is not a standard field that comes with Google Contacts, and you (or someone in your company) has created it to fulfill a specific purpose.
You can now sync this custom field into another cloud apps, such as MailChimp.
You will first need to create a custom field in MailChimp called “Number of Houses Owned”, and then in the PieSync dashboard map this field to the corresponding Google Contacts custom fields you wish to sync.
Or you can do the opposite, and sync custom fields from other apps, such as MailChimp, into Google Contacts, and PieSync will automatically create this new custom field in Google Contacts for you.
